NAME: PARIS

BREED: Chihuahua (long coated)

DOB:  05/01/2014

CHILDREN: We would recommend an adult only home, she can make friends, but she would struggle with visiting people.

OTHER DOGS: She would be best suited as an only dog, unless you have a very calm, and older small male dog. They would need to be non-reactive and not have any behaviour issues.

CATS: She is not able to live with cats.

FEEDING: She loves her food and at the kennels is fed a raw diet.

HEALTH: She has been healthy during her stay at the kennels but we were told that she had previously broken both of her front legs (we cannot confirm this either way) You can see from this image that her legs are deformed and not straight. She certainly doesn't like having them touched.

MORE INFORMATION: Paris is a beautiful little Chihuahua! She is tiny in size and has the most adorable nature once you know her. She can be a very nervous at first, and takes a few visits before she is comfortable with someone, mostly she needs someone to let her approach you, as if you force yourself on her, she would bite you. She finds being picked up challenging, and having her neck and feet touched.

IDEAL HOME: Due to her fears a quiet adult only home would be best for her. Ideally just with one woman in the home as she is more comfortable with women than men. Simply so she has as little to contend with as possible as she is so small and things can be scary for her!

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Paris can be initially nervous of new people and being handled. Once she has built a bond with us she is the cheekiest girl, loves treats and training and has definitely stolen a few hearts while she has been with us. She would need to develop her confidence for things such as handling in terms of using a harness and grooming.

LOCATION: At Glendee Rescue,Hertfordshire.
